A love of music for life.

We all have personal stories to tell of the ways in which the TSO has touched our lives. Let me share one with you… mine.

Music has been part of my life since early childhood. I was lucky enough to have grandparents and a Mum who played the piano and there was always music in our house. As a five-year old, I was intrigued by the way she turned dots on a page into a beautiful melody. Mum knew it was time to let someone else explain this magic and took me to piano lessons. Two years later I had my first experience of orchestral music – a TSO schools concert – and my path was altered forever.

We all have personal stories to tell of the ways in which the TSO has touched our lives. I’d love to hear yours. Next time you’re at a concert, please come and say hello and share your TSO story.

You can help inspire audiences and new generations by giving the gift of music. Please consider making a tax-deductible gift today
